What you’ll be doing:

Planning and delivering high-quality Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Developing and implementing an engaging, inclusive music curriculum

Assessing, recording, and reporting on student progress and attainment

Providing constructive feedback to support students in achieving their musical potential

Organising and leading concerts, performances, and extracurricular music activities

Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation

Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the wider educational experience

Contributing to school events and activities that promote the Music department
You’ll need:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

A degree in Music or a related subject

Experience teaching Music at secondary level (desirable)

Strong knowledge of the secondary music curriculum and best practice

Proficiency in teaching and playing a range of musical instruments

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A strong commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
