The special care team offers nursing care for people who have complex medical needs, as well as residential dementia care, where we have opened a new purpose-built dementia unit, to support our residents to maintain their independence and individuality, encouraging social activity and building relationships within the home. 

 

As a Nurse your day to day duties include:

·         Leading a team to ensure the highest possible standards of care

·         Assessment of residents' needs, creating and implementing Care plans

·         Developing, reviewing and updating care plans to meet resident's physical, social and psychological needs, whilst still championing independence and personal choice

·         Maintaining accurate documentation and resident records.

·         Oversee all aspects of medicine management on your shift in accordance with company policies and current legislation.

·         Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines - identify, investigate and resolve risks proactively.

·         Support, guide, teach and mentor others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times

 

An ideal Nurse must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:

·         Registered Nurse with a current NMC Pin

·         Understanding of care planning processes and be fully familiar with clinical assessment tools

·         Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

·         Able to work within a team as well as independently

·         Be able to demonstrate initiative and be adaptive and flexible.

·         Able to show a can-do attitude always

 

The successful Nurse will be offered an excellent salary of £16.00 and the overtime rate is £20.00 per hour. This exciting position is for Full Time on Nights Shifts only. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
