A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Specialist Dermatology Nurse to work in a district general hospital based in the Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers

This is a district general hospital which specialises in Frailty, Dementia Care and Complex Discharge Planning to its patients

**You must be qualified as an RGN Nurse with a valid NMC Pin and have 2 years Dermatology experience in acute, primary care and/or community settings**As a Nurse your key duties include:

·        Your days will be rewarding and fulfilling and include; providing professional, managerial and clinical leadership for the nursing team and supporting the Clinical Lead and Service Manager

·        To deliver efficient services that meet or exceed required quality standards within the Dermatology Service

·        You will contribute to the development of a clinical strategy and pathways of care within the Dermatology Service, with a focus on improving the consistency of the patient experience across the services within the region

·        You will ensure coordinated provision of nurses within the service and implementation of the clinical strategy for the Dermatology Service

·        You will arrange and maintain regular contact with academic teams to develop and deliver on the local workforce development /continuing professional development plan

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

·        Be able to demonstrate significant clinical leadership through innovation

·        Leading on change management and supervision of junior staff and peers

·        Experience of working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment

·        Experience of supporting learning in a clinical environment

·        Self-motivated and innovative

·        Caring and compassionate

·        Effective interpersonal skills –communication & negotiation skills
