A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse to work in an exceptional private hospital service based in the Nottingham area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers

This service is a private hospital with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare for self pay/insured and NHS patients. The private hospital treatments include full diagnostic and endoscopy procedures, weight loss surgery, orthopaedic surgery including spinal treatment, physiotherapy and cosmetic surgery

**To be considered for this position you must be an RGN Nurse with a current active NMC or an ODP with a HCPC registration**As a Nurse your key duties include:

·        ​​Working as part of the theatre team to provide a high standard of efficient and individualised patient care

·        Supporting the consultants in the delivery of exceptional standards, focused around patient care and ensuring the best possible clinical outcome for patients

·        As well as delivering exceptional standards of clinical care to our surgical patients, you will have the opportunity to broaden their theatre nursing experience by managing a stimulating case mix

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

·        Medical and/or surgical experience within a hospital environment

·        Specific experience for scrubbing for ophthalmology

·        Comprehensive understanding of relevant clinical standards in a surgical environment

·        Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

·        Excellent customer care skills

·        A good standard of computer literacy

·        Ability to work within a team

·        Ability to time-manage effectively

The successful Nurse will receive an excellent of £29,500 - £36,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
