We’re working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Newham that’s looking for a confident and engaging Computing Teacher to join their team. The department is well-resourced, leadership is supportive, and pupils are keen to learn, especially when lessons are practical, relevant, and well-paced.
The role includes:

Teaching Computing across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5 if desired

Delivering engaging lessons in areas such as computer science, digital literacy, and programming

Supporting pupils with a range of abilities and learning styles

Working as part of a collaborative and welcoming department

Maintaining strong classroom routines and positive behaviour
The school is looking for someone who:

Holds UK QTS (or is working towards it)

Has experience teaching Computing in a UK secondary school

Can confidently deliver the curriculum and adapt lessons to suit learners

Brings enthusiasm, organisation, and a calm classroom presence

Is happy to get stuck in and be part of the wider school community

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
