

Deputy Manager
An amazing job has arisen for a Deputy Manager to work with one of Ireland's leading healthcare providers. As a Deputy manager you will be working in a highly reputable service within the Newry area.
This care home is a specialist Nursing dementia care home, 24-hour care provided by specialist teams trained in the complexities of looking after those living with dementia, who may also have other long-term medical conditions.
As a Deputy Manager your day to day duties include:
· Continually assessing the resident’s needs and wishes and develop the service to enhance their quality of life
· Deputise in the overall management of the care home as required
· Communicate professionally and warmly with visitors including family, friends and external stakeholders
· Role model high standards of nursing care, ensuring legal regulatory and best practise guidelines are followed
· Ensure the home operates within budget through effective use of resource and identify areas to improve efficiency
· You will need to be a visible leader in the home, supporting the operation of a 24 hour business
· Oversee the induction of all new employees and participate in the training development of the team
· Play an active part in the recruitment, assessment and supervision of the team
· Support the manager in disciplinary proceeding where required
The successful Deputy Manager will receive a competitive salary of £18.50 and the overtime rate is £22.50 per hour. This exciting position is for 39 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
