Clinical Manager for Care Home

Our client is one of the leading Healthcare Providers that is currently seeking a Night Manager to join a reputable Care Home located in Manchester.

The purpose built home specialises in providing residential, nursing, dementia, respite and end-of-life care for the elderly. The large landscaped gardens are regularly maintained and a popular location with the residents.

This is a full time role where the successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £16.00 per hour with fantastic supplementary benefits.

As the Night Manager within the service, you will be expected to oversee the staff team to ensure the highest quality of care is delivered to the residents, in the absence of the Home Manager.

Your main duties will be:

·         Taking responsibility for leading the staff team

·         Take on an active leadership role

·         Develop and motivate the staff teams performance

·         Ensure the right prescribed medicines are being administered

·         Prepare an incident report where required

·         Ensure the residents needs and wishes are being met

·         Maintain the budget of the home and seek to identify opportunities to increase profitability

·         Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements; striving to achieve the best possible care rating and other external recognition of quality. 

What we want from you:

·         Qualified Registered Nurse with current NMC registration

·         Previous experience within a managerial position

·         Good communication and leadership skills

·         Knowledge of national standards and person centred care planning

To be considered for this role you must be a qualified Registered Nurse and previous experience within a Managerial role.
