Opening for Advanced Nurse Practitioner

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join a Nursing Team in delivering care for patients across 3 sites within the Halifax area.

The services offer high quality primary care and access to a range of health professionals. They provide a range of health services and information as well as advice and treatment for a range of illnesses.

The salary for this position ranges from £45,150 - £47,092 per annum depending on experience, with great additional benefits.

As a prescribing Advanced Nurse Practitioner you will join and work alongside a team of dedicated and highly-skilled clinical professionals. There will be regular meetings, development and sessions social events with the clinical team. With this role you will be caring for patients presenting undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems using advanced nursing skills across the clinics. You will use your experience to work flexibly to guide care staff where appropriate.

Your main duties will be to:

·         Provide advanced level of autonomous nursing practices to assess, investigate, diagnose, treat and refer patients

·         Provide service to meet the needs of the patients using advanced nursing skills

·         Organise and develop nursing care services for the patients of the service

·         Contribute to the provision of multidisciplinary education and training within the service

You must have the following qualifications and skills:

·         Qualified Registered Nurse with NMC registration

·         Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification

·         Prescribing qualification

·         Clinical experience

·         Accredited training in chronic disease management

·         Minor injuries experience from an acute setting

·         Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
