Primary SEN TA – Behaviour and Emotional Support

Location: Peterlee
Pay: £90–£110 per day
Contract: Full-Time

We’re recruiting a Primary SEN TA to support pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs in a calm, specialist setting.

This role suits someone patient, observant and emotionally aware, who understands that progress can be slow but meaningful.

Your day-to-day:
• Supporting pupils during learning and unstructured times
• Helping children develop emotional regulation strategies
• Encouraging positive choices and independence
• Supporting engagement with learning activities
• Acting as a trusted, consistent adult

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
