

Service Manager
An outstanding job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Service Manager to join an exceptional residential service based within the Plymouth area. As a Service Manager you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.
This is a residential service that provides assessment and specialist support for adults with profound, severe and moderate learning disabilities, complex behaviours and autistic spectrum conditions, who may also have communication difficulties.
As a Service Manager your day to day duties include:
· Dedicated to undertaking the management of supporting people with learning disabilities and other complex needs
· Your team will support service users in your care to achieve their goals in life and will actively seek out opportunities for them to develop their skills and confidence through a variety of staff involvement, activities and other initiatives
· Committed to quality assurance, you will effectively lead and inspire your team to provide the highest quality person-centred support and care
· Delivering best practice in social care whilst continually developing the service
· You will have the opportunity to use your skills in an environment where the effective management of people and processes will be critical to the services success.
An ideal Service Manager must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:
· Commitment to delivering high quality care
· Previous managerial experience in a similar environment
· Strong working knowledge of regulatory standards
· Fine tuned decision making skills
· Excellent organisational and communication skills
· Flexibility and strong “can do” attitude
The successful Service Manager will be offered an excellent salary of £30,000 per annum. This exciting position is for 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
