

Ward Manager
An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Ward Manager join an exceptional hospital service. As a Ward Manager you will be working for a company which is rated highly and has an excellent reputation in the Potters Bar area.
This special clinic offers CAMHS Tier 4 low secure services for young people with a wide range of disorders and complex needs. The aim is to deliver, treat and empower each young person to live a safe and independent life and reach their individual potential
As a Ward Manager your day to day duties include:
· Providing a high profile, visible operational/clinical leadership to the ward team
· Promoting and safeguarding the well-being and interests of all patients, employees and visitors
· Ensuring that standards of patient care are maintained at all times within the parameters of operational policies and governing legislation
· Assisting the Hospital Director in ensuring that the resources for the unit are well utilised and managed within our agreed yearly budget
· Ensuring that the dashboard and all the internal and external means of quality reporting is adhered to
· Accepting 24 hour responsibility for the units in our region on a rotational basis as the manager on call
· Participating in service specific strategy and development including local and corporate clinical governance initiatives
· Demonstrating and modelling professional behaviors at all times
· Supporting the implementation of clinical and corporate governance for the management of patient information.
An ideal Ward Manager must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:
· Significant experience within a hospital setting within a leadership/management capacity
· At least three years’ experience of working as a Charge Nurse or equivalent
· Relevant sufficient post registration experience
· Relevant experience in a similar environment
· Proven track record of leadership and management skills
· PMVA training or equivalent
· RMN/RNLD Qualification
The successful Ward Manager will receive an excellent salary from £38,000 - £41,208 per annum DOE. This exciting position is a Full Time role and in return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
