

Eating Disorders Consultant Psychiatrist
An outstanding job opportunity has arisen for a committed Eating Disorders Consultant Psychiatrist to join an exceptional hospital home service based in Preston. As a Nurse you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.
This special service is an independent adult mental health hospital, specialising in the management and treatment of a wide range of mental health problems. The facility has established an excellent reputation for offering calming and recovery focused residential treatment.
As a Eating Disorders Consultant Psychiatrist your day to day duties include:
· You will fulfil the role of Responsible Clinician to patients supervising the process of referral and admission including contribution to the pre-admission assessments
· The role is a pivotal element of an established mulit-disciplinary team aiming to ensure that patients receive a person-centric care and treatment programme
An ideal Eating Disorders Consultant Psychiatrist you must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:
· You will continue to hold appropriate registration with the GMC, and to maintain Section 12(2) and AC status
· You must hold a CCST/CCT or equivalent in General Adult psychiatry
· Experience of working in acute inpatient settings with people with significant mental health difficulties
· You will have had experience at consultant level within the NHS
· Experience of psychiatry in eating disorders is desirable
· You will be an Approved Clinician and will be Section 12(2) Approved
· Be an excellent team player
· Keen to participate in a multi disciplinary approach to assessment with a keen interest in developing services within a forward thinking transitional environment
· Able to show a can-do attitude always
