Set back within landscaped gardens, the tranquil environment of the Hospital offers calming and recovery focused residential treatment for service users, as well as day care and outpatient services.

 

Specialising in the management and treatment of mental health problems including addictions and eating disorders, our multidisciplinary team deliver personalised treatment programmes and have established an excellent reputation for providing the highest standards of care.

 

We have a position in our Child & Adolescent Eating Disorder Mental Health Service (CAMHS). The successful candidate will need to hold a medical degree (MB ChB or equivalent), full GMC registration with licence to practice and a minimum of one year’s experience in mental health. In return we can offer you a solid commitment to your CPD, help with MRCPsych exams and a wide variety of specialist clinical opportunities not usually available within the NHS.

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

·         Liaising with the Ward Consultant to provide effective clinical duties .

·         Day to day management of patients on the ward including the undertaking of risk assessments, MDT liaison, outcome measurements.

·         Prompt mental health assessments, reports and clinical summaries.

·         The post holder must have proficient ICT skills to use our electronic record system (Carenotes) and produce reports.

·         Participating in audit, research, quality and performance management, as well as assessment of risk and other appropriate clinical, management and professional activities.

·         Participation in an on-call rota with cross-cover for annual leave, study leave and short term absence.

Benefits include: Annual leave entitlement of 25 days (plus 8 bank/public holidays), with additional leave for long service and a contributory pension.
