

Deputy Ward Manager - PD Service
An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Deputy Ward Manager - PD Service to work in an exceptional hospital service based in the Royston, Hertfordshire. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This hospital offers purpose-built services with medium secure, low secure, and both locked and open rehabilitation opportunities. They offer a range of specialist recovery pathways, all at one site
As the Deputy Ward manager your key responsibilities include:
· Supervision and management of care staff
· Planning, assessing, delivering and evaluating individual care
· Planning staff rotas
· Establish and maintain outstanding communication with clients, relatives and colleagues
· Deputise in the absence of the Ward Manager
· Undertake on call within a rota
· Demonstrate consistent leadership and role modelling
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
· Clinical experience and leadership
· Experienced in delivering and receiving supervision
· Ability to be able to assess and prioritise clinical situations
· Management of effective communication between medical and nursing staff both verbal and written is a key element of this role
· Experience in Mental Health or Learning Disability services
· At least 3 years, or equivalent experience post-registration
The successful Deputy Ward Manager will receive an excellent salary of £41,728.52 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
