

Deputy Manager
An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Deputy Manager to work in an exceptional nursing home based in the South Norwood, London area. As a Deputy Manager you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.
This special nursing home is a purpose-built nursing home and they provide 24-hour expert care specialising in palliative care, respite care and have their very own specialist dementia care unit.
As a Deputy Manager your day to day duties include:
· Assessing clients to ensure all needs are met and subsequently to monitor the planning, delivery and on-going evaluation of care
· Medication management to comply with company policies on ordering, administration, storage and destruction of medications.
· Conducting clinical audits and overseeing RN’s to ensure person centred Care Plans are reviewed and updated as per company policy.
· Continually assessing and supervising the work of staff to ensure consistently high standards and the efficient running of the Care Home
· Ensuring that the day to day care provision is delivered in accordance with CQC standards, Health & Safety legislation and company policies and procedures.
· Management of staff rotas, sickness / absence in accordance with company’s policy
An ideal Deputy Manager must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Fine tuned decision making skills
· Enthusiastic and motivated with a strong “can do” attitude
· NMC Registered
· Extensive clinical and management experience
The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent annual salary of £40,000 - £42,000 and this can be negotiable for the right Deputy Manager. This exciting position is a Full Time role and in return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Nurse either RGN, RMN or RNLD
