An Exciting job opportunity has arisen for a motivated RMN/RNLD to work with one of the UK’s leading health care company. As a nurse you will be working in the Southampton area.

 

This prestigious hospital has established an excellent reputation for providing the highest standards of care and specialises in the management and treatment of mental health problems including eating disorders.

 

As a Nurse your day to day duties include:

·         Ensure the highest possible standards of care, assessing patients' needs and wishes, and developing services to enhance their quality of life.

·         Champion appropriate independence and personal choice; developing, reviewing and updating care plans to meet our patients physical and social needs.

·         Oversee all aspects of medicine management on your shift – ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered, in accordance with company policies and current legislation.

·         Ensure all elements of patients experience are positive, from admission to discharge.

·         Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines – identify, investigate and resolve risks proactively.

·         Ensure you follow a rigorous monitoring and recording practice; documenting efficiently, and thoroughly all matters relating to patients and employees

 

An ideal Nurse must have these skills and knowledge as they are beneficial for this position:

·         Experience of delivering nursing care within elderly health care sector

·         People Management experience

·         Experience of participating in quality and clinical governance programmes

·         Able to show a can-do attitude always

·         Nursing dementia care

·         Acute mental health

 

The successful Nurse will be offered an excellent salary of £28,500. This exciting position is for 37.5 hours a week. We currently have vacancies for both day and night shifts available.  In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
