

Deputy Manager/RGN
An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Deputy Manager/RGN to work in an exceptional nursing home service based in the Southport area. As a Deputy Manager/RGN you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.
This special service is a family run care group providing quality residential and nursing care for the elderly. They provide a full range care from residential to nursing care needs for both long term and respite periods.
As a Deputy Manager/RGN your day to day duties include:
· Ensure the highest possible standards of care, assessing residents' needs and wishes, and developing services to enhance their quality of life.
· Champion appropriate independence and personal choice; developing, reviewing and updating care plans to meet our residents physical and social needs.
· Oversee all aspects of medicine management on your shift – ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered, in accordance with company policies and current legislation.
· Ensure all elements of resident experience are positive, from admission to discharge.
· Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines – identify, investigate and resolve risks proactively.
· Ensure you follow a rigorous monitoring and recording practice; documenting efficiently, and thoroughly all matters relating to residents and employees
An ideal Deputy Manager/RGN must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:
· A positive and flexible attitude and wholly adopt a person centred ethos, exhibiting empathy and a desire to make a difference.
· Be forward thinking and up to date with current practices and have a desire to maintain excellent clinical and industry knowledge.
· Strong leadership and management qualities are essential and previous experience as a deputy home manager would be desirable.
· Able to show a can-do attitude always
· NMC Registered
The successful Deputy Manager/RGN will receive an excellent salary of £17.50 per hour and the annual salary for this position is £32,760 per annum.
