An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Deputy Ward Manager to work in an exceptional hospital service based in Bristol. As a Deputy Ward Manager you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.

The hospital offers calming and recovery focused inpatient treatment for up to 85 service users as well as day care and outpatient services. Personalised treatment programmes are delivered by multidisciplinary team, specialising in the management and treatment of acute and complex mental health problems.

As a Deputy Ward Manager your day to day duties include:

·         Support the Ward Manager to manage the ward and it's resources taking appropriate action to ensure that standards of care are exceptional

·         Be responsible for ensuring care plans reflect the needs of patients and that your staff receive timely clinical supervision, appraisal, CPD and complete mandatory training

·         You will have the support of excellent health care assistants

·         SMT will listen to your thoughts and ideas and you have the opportunity to be really involved with and to influence  the future direction of the PICU service

·         You will provide senior nursing leadership to the ward nursing team.

·         You will therefore act as a visible role model to promote a culture of learning development and team vision

 

An ideal Deputy Ward Manager must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:

·         RMN/RNLD Qualification

·         Current NMC registration

·         Nurses who are looking at their next stage of career progression

·         Willingness to complete further clinical, managerial and leadership training

·         Computer literate

 

The successful Deputy Ward Manager will receive an excellent annual salary of £30,754.50 per annum + enhancements. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
