SEN Teacher – ASD & Neurodiversity Focus (Fixed-Term to Permanent)

Role Summary

Support autistic and neurodivergent learners through structured, responsive teaching strategies tailored to individual needs. You’ll work across age groups, adapting the environment and curriculum to maximise engagement and personal growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide motivating, personalised learning sessions for pupils with a wide range of needs.

• Utilise evidence-informed practices for autism and neurodiversity in classroom settings.

• Liaise with therapists and support staff to enhance holistic support plans.

• Contribute to behaviour/support plans and pastoral care.

Skills & Experience

• Experience in SEN or specialist settings.

• Facility with positive behaviour support and differentiated teaching.

• Commitment to ongoing professional learning in autism and SEND.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
