

Deputy Manager
An amazing job has arisen for a Deputy Manager to work with one of the UK's leading healthcare providers. As a Deputy Manager you will be working in a highly reputable service within the Swindon area.
The special Care team provides nursing care for those who have complex medical needs, and respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break.
As a Deputy Manager your day today duties include:
· Continually assessing the resident’s needs and wishes and develop the service to enhance their quality of life
· Deputise in the overall management of the care home as required
· Communicate professionally and warmly with visitors including family, friends and external stakeholders
· Role model high standards of nursing care, ensuring legal regulatory and best practise guidelines are followed
· Ensure the home operates within budget through effective use of resource and identify areas to improve efficiency
· You will need to be a visible leader in the home, supporting the operation of a 24 hour business
· Oversee the induction of all new employees and participate in the training development of the team
· Play an active part in the recruitment, assessment and supervision of the team
· Support the manager in disciplinary proceeding where required

· Show empathy and warmth to patients
· You should have good Dementia care experience
· Able to write and audit care plans
· Assist in assessments
· Experience in managing staff and ensuring the service runs smoothly
The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £17.25 - £17.51 per hour. This exciting position is for 44 hours a week with 11 supernumerary hours days or nights. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Nurse, either RGN, RMN OR RNLD
