

Unit Manager
We currently have an opportunity for a Unit Manager to join care home which based in Pencaitland. We are proud to announce that as a RGN Unit Manager you will be working for a company which prides itself in providing the highest standards of care to all residents within their care.
The company provides dementia, palliative, nursing and residential care. The successful candidate will be working 44 hours per week and will be paid competitive salary of £15.15 per hour plus other generous benefits.
Responsibilities:
· Provide care for the residents on a daily basis undertaking direct nursing and general care, as required, including periods on night duty if necessary
· Lead, motivate and manage a team working under your supervision
· Promote Independence, choice and respect throughout all aspects of the service
· Ensure that the area under your supervision operates in compliance with statutory and National Minimum Standards, regulatory guidelines and company policies and procedures
· Contribute positively to the setting and development of measurable standards of care relevant to the speciality
· Responsible for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of care programmes
· Contribute to the professional development of trained staff, encouraging the development of research based practice, with a view to meeting PREPP requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· RGN qualified with experience ideally within a nursing home environment
· Previous charge nurse or unit management experience
· Valid NMC PIN
· Passion for nursing and delivering high quality care
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
To be considered for this role you must be qualified RGN or RMN Nurse and must be registered with NMC
