Clinical Lead – Nurse Qualified

Fantastic job opening for a  Registered Nurse Clinical Lead to join a reputable care home located in Musselburgh.

The large bedded home prides itself with delivering high standards of care for people living with dementia.

As a Clinical Lead you will be expected to provide specialist nursing support and advice, take responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence and supervise/coach colleagues to deliver a service that is unparalleled in its empathy for resident issues.

Your main duties will be to:

·         Continually assess the residents’ needs and develop the service to enhance their quality of life

·         Developing, reviewing and updating care plans to meet the clients changing physical, social and psychological needs

·         Building a positive reputation of the home and unit

·         Ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines

·         Ensuring all medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered

·         Conducting care audits

·         Taking an active role in training the team of nurses and ensure they are kept up to date with current practices and research led developments

·         Ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and rotas are in place to ensure the efficient running of the home

To be considered for this role you must be a qualified Registered Nurse with a current registration with NMC. You will also need previous experience within a senior level and be committed to delivering the highest standards of care.

You must be a qualified Registered Nurse and have experience within a senior position to be considered for this role.
