An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Lead Psychologist to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Willenhall, West Midlands area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

 

This hospital cares for adults of working age with acute mental health care needs within a safe, therapeutic environment

 

**To be considered for this position you will full registration as a Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council HCPC**

 

As the Lead Psychologist your key responsibilities include:

·         Work closely with the hospital director/director of clinical services/medical director to implement an innovative and evidence-based psychology pathway across the hospital, and ensure the implementation of a high quality psychology department

·         Be responsible for individual and group interventions, diagnostic and cognitive assessments, MDT working, risk assessments, facilitate staff reflective practice sessions and will be requested to design and deliver training

·         Working with a dynamic multi-professional team leading the development of individual formulations and psychological assessment

·         Support the development and delivery of behavioural and other psychological interventions for service users and provide appropriately guidance to reduce risks, aid recovery and independence

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

·         You will have experience and knowledge in carrying a service users caseload, including assessing service users with personality disorders, autism and associated challenges, and designing and delivering specialist psychological treatment within a mental health setting

·         Be a confident leader

·         Keen to support the development of others

·         Understand the dynamics of working in both hospital and other healthcare environments and having the ability to offer help to those who need it in a compassionate way

 

The successful Lead Psychologist will receive an excellent salary up to £55,000 per annum DOE. This exciting position is a Part Time role working 15 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
