We&rsquo;re looking for an enthusiastic and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive and forward-thinking team in Swindon. This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced HLTA who enjoys taking the lead in the classroom and making a real difference to pupils&rsquo; learning and wellbeing.You&rsquo;ll play a key role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning, confidently leading lessons across a range of subjects and working closely with teachers and support staff to ensure every pupil feels supported, challenged and included.Many of the pupils you&rsquo;ll be working with have a diagnosis of autism, so flexibility, creativity and empathy are essential. Leading and delivering lessons under the direction of teaching staff</li><li data-start="1194" data-end="1256">
Planning and delivering differentiated learning activities</li><li data-start="1257" data-end="1322">
Supporting pupils&rsquo; learning, progress and emotional wellbeing</li><li data-start="1323" data-end="1403">
Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists and external professionals</li><li data-start="1404" data-end="1468">
Creating a safe, nurturing and positive learning environment</li><li data-start="1469" data-end="1547">
Monitoring and assessing pupil progress and feeding back to relevant staff</li><li data-start="1548" data-end="1623">
Taking on reasonable duties as agreed with the leadership and cover teams</li></ul>

Hold an HLTA qualification or have equivalent relevant experience</li><li data-start="1832" data-end="1887">

Are resilient, organised and solution-focused</li><li data-start="1938" data-end="2011">
Are passionate about supporting pupils with special educational needs</li><li data-start="2012" data-end="2082">

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
