An inclusive SEN setting in Durham is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to support children within its specialist provision.

Working alongside experienced staff, you will help pupils develop confidence, independence and key life skills while accessing a tailored curriculum designed to meet their individual needs.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting learning through structured and sensory-based activities
• Promoting positive interactions and communication skills
• Assisting with personal development and independence
• Providing emotional support where needed
• Supporting pupils throughout daily routines

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience within education, childcare or SEN settings
• Calm, nurturing and adaptable approach
• Strong communication skills
• Commitment to inclusive education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
