Are you a Psychology graduate looking to gain practical experience before progressing into Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counselling, Mental Health, or Teaching?
We are seeking a dedicated Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Gateshead. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to support pupils with additional learning needs while developing the skills and experience needed for future postgraduate study or professional training.
Working alongside experienced educators and support staff, you will help create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every pupil can thrive.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support
- Supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH needs
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Building meaningful relationships with learners
- Encouraging independence and engagement in learning
