Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant – SEN Schools, Gateshead

Protocol Education is recruiting Psychology graduates to work within specialist SEN schools in Gateshead. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to gain first-hand experience supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), SEMH needs, communication difficulties and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 and small-group support
• Assist with behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
• Encourage engagement and independence
• Support pupils in achieving their individual learning goals

Ideal Candidate:

• Psychology graduate or related degree
• Patient, resilient and empathetic
• Strong communication skills
• Interested in careers within psychology, therapy or education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
