

SEN Teaching Assistant

We’re working with a specialist SEN school in Gateshead looking for a resilient and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support pupils on a 1:1 basis.
You’ll support children and young people with:
• Autism
• ADHD
• SEMH
• Speech & language needs
The role includes:
✔ Supporting EHCP outcomes
✔ Helping pupils engage with learning
✔ Behaviour and emotional support
✔ Working closely with SEN staff and teachers
Ideal candidate:
• SEN experience preferred
• Calm under pressure
• Strong relationship-building skills
• Adaptable and proactive

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
