SEN Teaching Assistant – Hillingdon

Protocol Education is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Hillingdon.

About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with SEN.
- Assist children with a range of needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech and Language difficulties, and SEMH.
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated learning activities.
- Encourage pupils' independence, confidence, and social development.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Monitor and record pupil progress where appropriate.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable.
- A patient, caring, and resilient approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
- Experience in education, care, youth work, or support work is advantageous.
- Relevant qualifications are welcomed but not essential.
