We’re working with a well-regarded secondary school in Macclesfield looking for a confident and engaging Humanities Teacher to join their team this September. The department is collaborative, well-resourced, and passionate about helping students see the bigger picture, whether that’s through History, Geography, or Religious Studies.
If you can turn a lesson on tectonic plates, civil rights, or global development into something students actually talk about at lunch, you’ll fit right in.
What you’ll be doing

Teaching Humanities across KS3 and KS4

Delivering thought-provoking lessons that build critical thinking and discussion skills

Supporting students of all abilities to develop confidence in analysis and extended writing

Working as part of a supportive and well-organised department

Contributing to enrichment opportunities, trips, and wider school life

Experience teaching Humanities at secondary level
