We're working with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Redbridge looking for a talented Drama and English Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis. The Role
You'll be teaching a combination of Drama and English across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering lessons that inspire creativity, critical thinking, and confidence. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the wider life of the school through productions, performances, enrichment activities, and literacy initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering engaging Drama and English lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that support progress and achievement
- Assessing student work and providing meaningful feedback
- Supporting students' personal, social, and academic development
- Contributing to school productions, performances, and extracurricular activities
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to drive excellent outcomes for students
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching Drama and/or English in a secondary setting
- Is passionate about the performing arts, literature, and student development
- Builds strong relationships with students and colleagues
- Has high expectations and a commitment to raising achievement
- Brings energy, creativity, and enthusiasm to the classroom
