Location: Slough, Berkshire
Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term/Permanent

Protocol Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Slough.

About the Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language difficulties.
  • Encourage pupils' confidence, independence, and social development.
  • Help create a positive, safe, and nurturing learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable.
  • A patient, caring, and empathetic approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Passion for supporting children with additional learning needs.
  • Reliable, flexible, and committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential.
