We’re looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to join a supportive South Shields school, working with pupils who need consistency, structure, and someone who really gets it.

What you’ll be doing:
• Supporting pupils with SEMH needs in and out of the classroom
• Using de-escalation techniques to manage behaviour
• Helping create routines that pupils can rely on
• Working closely with teachers and SENCOs

• Experience supporting children or young people
• A calm, proactive mindset
• Confidence in managing challenging behaviour
• A genuine passion for helping pupils succeed
