We’re working with an SEMH setting in South Shields looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant who values those moments.
What you’ll be doing:
• Supporting pupils who need help with emotional regulation
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
• Acting as a consistent, supportive presence
• Working as part of a close-knit team
What we’re looking for:
• Experience with SEMH, youth work, or similar
• Patience, empathy, and resilience
• Someone who builds trust naturally
• A team player with a positive attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
