A welcoming primary school in South Shields is looking for a nurturing SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs, including autism and speech and language difficulties.

Location: South Shields
Pay: £95–£120 per day
Start Date: ASAP

The Role:

• Supporting children in KS1/KS2 with SEND
• Delivering tailored interventions
• Encouraging communication and social development
• Supporting the class teacher with differentiated learning

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience with SEND (particularly ASD)
• Patient, empathetic, and proactive
• Strong teamwork skills
• Understanding of EHCPs is desirable
