We’re working with welcoming mainstream primary schools in Southwark looking for caring and reliable 1:1 Learning Support Assistants to support pupils who need extra help to access learning and build confidence.

What you’ll be doing

• Providing 1:1 classroom support for a pupil with additional learning needs

• Working closely with teachers and SENCOs

• Helping pupils stay engaged, confident, and included in lessons

• Supporting positive behaviour and learning routines

What we’re looking for

• Experience working with children (school, childcare, youth work, or SEND settings)

• A calm, patient, and encouraging approach

• Someone who enjoys helping children grow in confidence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
