We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and inclusive primary school from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential and who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.

The Role

The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support teaching and learning across the school. Responsibilities will include supporting pupils in the classroom, delivering small group interventions, assisting with the preparation of learning resources and helping to create a positive and nurturing learning environment.

The role may also involve providing targeted support for pupils with additional educational needs.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has experience working with primary-aged children (desirable but not essential).
  • Is patient, positive and committed to helping children succeed.
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Can work effectively as part of a team and use their own initiative.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Has good literacy, numeracy and organisational skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
