This role is part of the Growth Analytics team focused on applied analytics to support the commercial objectives of the wider OVO Growth team across Energy, Home Services, Smart Metering and Zero Carbon Living.

This role in a nutshell

Reporting to a Senior Growth Analytics Manager, you will coordinate delivery of Commercial trading and Forecasting reports, engage with stakeholders to design technical solutions, lead projects via Agile methodologies, act as a troubleshooter and subject matter expert, and use BigQuery SQL and visualisation tools such as Tableau and Data Studio.

Within your first 3 months you’ll

• Have delivered on 5 to 10 ticketed tasks or projects
• Have built or enhanced an analytics platform using SQL ETL and Tableau
• Translated stakeholder input for commercial business benefit

Systems

You will have experience in data analysis and programming, ideally with coding knowledge of SQL/BigQuery. Experience of Python would be helpful. Knowledge of Tableau, PowerBI or Data Studio would be advantageous.

• Typically have 3-5 years experience in a data and analytics environment
• Are numerate and have significant technical expertise
• Have well-developed stakeholder management skills
• Have strong planning and organisational capability, ideally with Agile or Kanban experience
• Can translate commercial and technical expertise into business solutions
• Relish combining data science, ETL, visualisation and insight skills
