The Position

We are seeking a Reporting Manager as a result of the rapid expansion to manage the Group’s reporting requirements to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the group comprising more than 150 legal entities, including review, authorization and processing consolidation journals.

· Prepare monthly management accounts for key business units, including performance analysis, variance reporting, and KPI commentary for senior management.

· Prepare annual statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS;

· Review loan agreements and monitor financial covenants to ensure compliance;

· Prepare technical accounting memoranda for complex transactions, including assessment of the accounting treatment and implications under IFRS.

· Liaise with external auditors, ensuring that all required documentation and information are provided accurately and on timely basis.

· Ensure compliance with applicable tax, statutory and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions, including the United Kingdom, Singapore, and Bermuda.

· Support the implementation and continual improvement of financial reporting processes, systems, and internal controls.

Person Specification

Job Knowledge and Experience

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.

· Professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent.

· Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in financial reporting, or audit, including at least 2-5 years within a shipping or maritime industry.

· Previous experience managing audits, statutory reporting, and consolidated group reporting.

· Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting standards, and statutory reporting requirements.

· Expertise in preparing and reviewing consolidated financial statements.

· Experience with complex accounting areas including:

o IFRS 16 Leases

o IFRS 10 Consolidated Financial Statements

o IFRS 16 Property, Plant and Equipment

o IAS 39 Impairment of Assets

o IFRS 9 Financial Instruments

· Advances Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query and Pivot Tables.

· Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP and consolidation systems such as Fluence, SAP Oracle, or equivalent.

· Ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

· Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Proactive, self-motivated, and results oriented.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP and consolidation systems such as Fluence, SAP Oracle, or equivalent.
