Priory Hospital Norwich is looking to recruit a Mental Health Nurse to join the team. 
 
Priory Hospital Norwich, Attleborough, Norfolk is a 24/7 inpatient mental health service providing care for males and females across wards of differing acuity, including medium to high risk patients. It is accessible by public transport, with limited local bus services and Attleborough railway station approximately 1–2 miles from the hospital. Due to the rural location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended. In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.

You will work effectively as a valued member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, promoting the best interests of clients and their carers while ensuring prescribed nursing care is delivered safely and effectively. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and supportive care environment, exercising professional accountability and responsibility, and using your nursing skills, knowledge and expertise to respond effectively to changing environments. You will work within the scope of your professional practice and maintain high standards of care at all times.

• Qualified Mental Health Nurse with active NMC registration.
• Minimum of 6-12 months post-registration experience working within a mental health care environment. 
• Good understanding of NMC guidelines, requirements and professional standards. 
• Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD). 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Positive attitude with a commitment to change, improvement and delivering high-quality care. 
• Ability to work flexibly and use innovative approaches to care.
