A diverse and welcoming primary school close to Avonmouth is looking for a full-time SEN Learning Partner to join their team on a long-term basis.

This is a varied role, working across mainstream classrooms and within the school's behavioural support unit. The school has a strong community feel, high expectations for all pupils, and a commitment to inclusion, wellbeing, and personal development. Staff work together to help children become confident, resilient learners who feel safe, supported, and ready to succeed.

The role

  • Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs
  • Working alongside class teachers in mainstream lessons
  • Providing support within the behavioural unit
  • Building positive relationships with pupils and helping them engage with learning
  • Promoting a calm, inclusive and supportive learning environment

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience supporting children or young people, SEN experience is preferred
  • Is patient, resilient and able to build strong relationships
  • Can work effectively as part of a wider school team
  • Is looking for a long-term opportunity within education

What you'll receive

Requirements

  • References covering the previous 2 years
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service
  • Right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
