This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable school-based experience, build confidence working with children, and explore a future career in teaching, educational psychology, youth work or pastoral support.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll play an important role in helping pupils achieve their potential by:
Supporting learning within the classroom
Working with pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
Building confidence, resilience and positive learning habits
Supporting literacy, topic work and classroom activities
Helping pupils stay engaged and focused throughout the school day
Adapting your approach to meet different learning needs
Working closely with teachers and experienced school staff
No two days are the same, making this a rewarding role where you'll see the impact of your support first-hand.
