Protocol Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in BS6 to recruit a dedicated Year 2 Class Teacher for a full-time position starting immediately.

The Role

As the Year 2 Class Teacher, you'll create an engaging and purposeful learning environment where children feel safe, supported and motivated to achieve their best. You'll deliver high-quality lessons, nurture positive relationships and help pupils grow academically, socially and emotionally.

Working closely with a collaborative staff team, you'll play an important role in ensuring every child is challenged, supported and celebrated throughout their learning journey.

About You

We're looking for a teacher who is passionate about making a difference and committed to helping every child succeed.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Recent KS1 teaching experience, ideally within Year 2.
• Strong knowledge of phonics, early reading, writing and maths.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A nurturing, inclusive and child-centred approach.
• The ability to adapt learning to meet a range of needs and abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Enthusiasm, positivity and a genuine love of teaching.

What We Need to Clear You

• Passport or proof of right to work in the UK.
• Two proofs of address, such as a driving licence, utility bill or council tax statement.
• A CV covering the last 10 years of work or education, with any gaps explained.
• References covering the last two years, including education references where applicable.
• An overseas police check if you have lived abroad for three months or more within the last five years.
