The Opportunity

This is a fantastic role for graduates considering a future career in education. Working across Key Stages 3 and 4, you will play a key role in supporting students to overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, and achieve academic success.

You'll work both one-to-one and with small intervention groups, gaining hands-on experience of classroom practice, behaviour management, SEND support, and pupil engagement. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing targeted one-to-one support for students who require additional academic or pastoral guidance
• Delivering and supporting small-group intervention sessions
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities
• Supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH, and additional learning needs
• Promoting positive behaviour, engagement, and participation in learning
• Encouraging student independence, resilience, and confidence
• Building strong relationships with students, staff, and families
• Contributing to a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive school environment
