Monday - Thursday; 8:45am - 6.00pm, Friday; 8:45am - 5pm, Saturday; 10:00am - 4:00pm (on rota basis). When required to work a Saturday you will be awarded half a day in lieu.

Job Summary and Key Responsibilities

The role of Lettings Negotiator is exciting and rewarding!

Duties will include:

• You will be involved in qualifying prospective tenants, identifying their property needs and helping them to find the right rental property.
• You will be responsible for conducting viewing appointments with prospective tenants and working with your landlords to provide the right marketing support and advice through negotiating a tenancy, and assisting the progress through to move in day.
• The highest levels of customer service must be delivered at all times, and you will also be expected to generate business referrals to other divisions of The Acorn Group.
• The ideal candidate will be willing to learn how to carry out Market appraisals and want to further their career to Senior Negotiator level.

Skills required

• At least six months to one years experience as a residential lettings agent and a proven track record in securing new business.
• Excellent sales ability.
• High level of customer service skills.
• Good telephone manner and positive attitude.
• The ability to negotiate.
• Tenacity and be a self-starter with the drive to succeed.
• Ability to build and nurture trusted relationships at all levels.
• Be responsive to change.
