Protocol Education is working with a specialist SEND school in Morpeth to recruit a dedicated full-time Healthcare Support Assistant.

The school offers individualised support to pupils with complex needs, Autism, physical disabilities and communication difficulties. You'll play an important role in helping pupils access education while also supporting their personal, physical and emotional needs.

Your day-to-day responsibilities

Every day will be different. You may be supporting pupils with:

• Accessing classroom activities
• Personal care and daily routines
• Physical and mobility needs
• Communication and interaction
• Emotional regulation
• Independence and life skills
• Engagement in learning
• Social development

You'll work as part of a wider team alongside teachers, support staff and therapists, helping create a positive and inclusive environment for pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
