An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Controls Manager to join a leading international contractor delivering a cutting edge data centre project.
The Project Controls Manager will be responsible for controlling and forecasting project performance across schedule, cost, progress, productivity and risk, working closely with project management, commercial, engineering and site teams.

Key Responsibilities - Project Controls Manager (Data Centres)
- Develop, manage and maintain baseline programmes, construction schedules and sequencing plans
- Manage procurement, commissioning and recovery programmes
- Track actual versus planned progress, productivity, milestones and key deliverables
- Manage the critical path, including float consumption, schedule risks and recovery opportunities
- Analyse programme performance and identify delays, trends and potential impacts to project completion.
- Forecast completion dates, project costs, labour requirements and resource requirements.
- Support project teams with schedule recovery and mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project risk exposure and performance trends.
- Produce detailed weekly and monthly project controls reports for senior leadership and clients.
- Develop schedule dashboards, progress curves, performance reports and risk summaries.
- Work closely with project, commercial, engineering, planning and site teams to ensure accurate project reporting.
- Provide clear, data-driven insight into project performance and highlight areas requiring action.
Key Success Factors - Project Controls Manager (Data Centres)
- Proven experience in Project Controls, Planning, Project Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineering
- Strong experience managing complex construction programmes and project controls
- Excellent understanding of critical path, logic, sequencing, float and schedule analysis
- Strong experience in progress tracking, forecasting and performance reporting
- Practical understanding of construction operations and project delivery
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, risks and potential programme impacts
- Experience producing reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders and clients
- Data centre or mission-critical project experience highly desirable
- Experience working for a Tier 1/main contractor would be advantageous
