Salary - £13.45 per hour
Part-time – 15 hours per week
Wigginton Cottage is seeking an activities coordinator to join our team.
2 x 8-hour days, or hours divided across 3 days, may be considered. There is some flexibility around start and finish times, with shifts generally starting from around 9:30am onwards to accommodate service user preferences. A 1-hour unpaid break applies each day.
Wigginton Cottage, Tamworth, Staffordshire is a residential service supporting 8 adults with a range of needs. It is located in a village setting and is accessible by public transport, with local bus routes and nearby rail links into Tamworth. Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended. You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the service and to support the wellbeing of our residents.

You will also:
- Plan and coordinate a varied programme of activities, trips and holidays across a 12-month calendar, ensuring activities are planned around individual needs, abilities and preferences.
- Support up to eight residents with varied needs, including autism, Prader-Willi Syndrome, mental health needs and behaviours that may challenge, adapting activities to promote inclusion and engagement.
- Maintain activity planners, posters and evidence files, ensuring records support regulatory compliance and reflect Priory values.
- Manage activity expenditure through the CFA system, ensuring the annual budget is used effectively to provide meaningful opportunities for residents.
