The Role

As an English Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Inspire students to develop a love of reading, writing and communication.
• Plan and deliver ambitious lessons that challenge and support learners of all abilities.
• Monitor progress and use assessment effectively to drive achievement.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Support students in achieving strong academic outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop outstanding teaching and learning.
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in English or a related subject.
• Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom management skills.

• High expectations of student achievement and behaviour.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A commitment to helping every student succeed.
