The Role

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Plan and teach high-quality lessons that inspire students of all abilities.
  • Develop students' confidence in numeracy, reasoning and problem-solving.
  • Monitor, assess and track progress to ensure strong outcomes.
  • Create a positive classroom culture where students feel supported and motivated to succeed.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to drive standards and achievement.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school community.

We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Excellent subject knowledge.
  • A commitment to raising attainment and achievement.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A passion for helping young people realise their potential.
